Arizona Virtual Teacher Institute

ASU Prep Global has created the Arizona Virtual Teacher Institute to help Arizona teachers thrive in the new reality where online instruction is a part of every school plan.

This training is provided at no cost to schools or teachers through the generous investment of the Arizona Department of Education, the Governor’s Office, Helios Education Foundation and Arizona State University.

Math Institute

Effective teaching is necessary to ensure all students learn mathematics. Through this Professional Development series, participants will collaborate with fellow Arizona math teachers during virtual training sessions to gain knowledge in specific, research-based teaching practices that are essential to the math success of each and every student. The eight Effective Mathematics Teaching Practices we will examine come from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) publication called Principles to Actions: Ensuring Mathematical Success for All (2014).
