Lisa Edgar

Chief Partnership Officer

Lisa Edgar is passionate about finding creative ways to break into traditional school constructs and find ways to bring personalized learning solutions to schools through partnership and collaboration with ASU. Her background is teaching history and has since lead teams of educators through leveraging technology to personalize learning and blend classrooms. She now leads ASU Prep Digital’s partnership team which finds innovative ways to collaborate with schools around the world.
Shannon Moberly

Director of Partnership Operations

Shannon Moberly is the Director of Partnership Operations. Her job focuses on managing partnerships, coordinating implementations, overseeing finances, and cultivating stakeholder relationships. Shannon has 14 years of experience in education and over 7 years at ASU Prep Digital. She holds a bachelor’s in Secondary Education from ASU and a master’s in Educational Leadership from NAU. In her free time, she cherishes quality time with her husband Dan and their two children, Desmond and Fiona.
Lindsay Levine

Director of Partnership Learning Design

Lindsay Levine joined ASU Prep in 2018 and currently serves as the Director of Partnership Learning Design. In this role, she provides strategic design leadership for key initiatives and major projects that drive innovative academic models and elevate student achievement across all levels. Lindsay plays a pivotal role in designing, launching, and sustaining both national and international partnerships, expanding access to qualified educators, diverse course offerings, and college credit opportunities through Arizona State University for learners worldwide. Prior to her current position, Lindsay taught elective courses, served as the Lead Teacher for the Electives Department, and was honored as ASU Prep Digital’s inaugural Teacher of the Year during the 2021–2022 school year. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Applied Psychology from Angelo State University and is certified to teach in both Arizona and Utah. Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys spending time outdoors with her son, Triston, and can often be found running, swimming, or reading.
Angela Zhao

Director of International Partnerships

Angela joined ASU Prep Digital as the Director of International Partnerships in 2020. She brought with more than 9 years of experiences on strategic projects management that lead to ASU’s deeper global involvement with more than 80 university partners. Previously, Angela was the marketing director for Chegg China (Beijing), managing all student engagement activities and international recruiting strategies for over 300 universities worldwide using social media and online tools. She also worked as the senior marketing manager at Alibaba and Yahoo! in Beijing, responsible for brand expansion, online user acqusition and tradeshows. Working overseas also allowed her to leverage her bicultural and bilingual background to establish large scale global partnerships. Angela has over 11 years of marketing and communication experiences in both U.S. and China.
Kate Castleman

Partnership Operations Manager

I started as an Admissions Advisor and have transitioned to Partnership Operations Manager. ASU Prep partners with schools close to home in Arizona, but also other states and countries. Learning about our partnership schools and students in all areas of the world is fascinating. It is easily the best part of my job.

Mollie Patten Carey

Partnership Account Manager

Mollie is passionate about designing scalable, student-centered programs. As one of ASU Prep Global's Partnership Account Managers, she partners with schools to design and launch new initiatives, strengthen existing systems, and deliver measurable results for students. With 15 years of experience living and teaching abroad, Mollie brings a global perspective and steady leadership to new initiatives and complex challenges. Outside of work, she loves supporting her kids in all their endeavors, spending time outdoors, and gathering friends and family around the table.
Aura Plair

Partnership Account Manager

Before joining ASU, Aura Plair spent 17 years in public education in the state of Florida as a teacher and also as a school and district leader. Aura’s first five years of public education were spent in a middle school classroom as a mathematics teacher. In 2005, Aura was recognized as Marion County’s Teacher of the Year and had the opportunity to have lunch with then Governor Jeb Bush recognizing the finalists for Florida Teacher of the Year. Inspired to expand her influence, Aura transitioned to school leadership where she served as assistant principal in an urban middle school in Jacksonville, Florida. From there Aura transitioned to a Principal position with Florida Virtual Schools overseeing the very first graduating class of students in the full-time model. She moved into District Leadership roles as both Director and Executive Director of Instruction where she helped FLVS build and improve their Blended Learning model. Aura spent 6 years supporting school districts with their implementation with various Educational Technology companies before returning to her virtual education roots. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, both earned from The Florida State University.

Rachel Maleski

Global Academy Principal

Rachel Maleski is a veteran educator with K-12 experience in three states as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, teacher mentor, dean of students, and administrator. As principal of the Global Academy at ASU Prep, Rachel ensures that the instructional team delivers robust and personalized learning experiences for all students, and that students are equipped with the skills necessary to allow them to serve their communities locally and globally. A native of Philadelphia, PA, Rachel currently lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband, two kids, and two pugs. When away from her work at ASU Prep, Rachel enjoys reading, baking, and exploring unique places near and far.

Lia Grebus

What do you like most about teaching?
Finding creative ways to channel my students' passions and interests into teaching is what I love the most. I love that I have the opportunity to take the time to really get to know what makes my students tick and form connections with each and every one of them!

What is something interesting about you?
I have been playing tennis for almost 30 years! It is a hobby I hope to enjoy forever!

What is the most interesting thing to you in your position and why?
The most interesting thing about my position to me are all of the different relationships I have the opportunity to build from my teammates and colleagues to teachers, students, and site administration. When I not working, you will find me spending time with my husband and three children and carving out time to spend with other family and friends.
