Since 1887, Kamehameha Schools has worked hard to remove learning barriers for native Hawaiian students. Through this partnership, ASU Prep Global implemented a K-12 online curriculum for distance learning that opened new opportunities for students and teachers.
Rooted in Christianity, Kamehameha Schools gives students the knowledge and skills they need to thrive with faith in an ever-changing world. Their mission is to fulfill their founder’s wish to create new opportunities and improve the well-being of people from Hawaiian ancestry. To help expand their mission, they partnered with ASU Prep Global to implement digital course licensing for a global academy, equipped with a customized curriculum for students and teachers to ensure continuity across learning experiences.
This global academy includes teacher training, K-12 online courses for distance learning, and learning management systems for teachers. It enhances the average primary school curriculum so learners and educators can get the most out of their time with Kamehameha Schools, and build a future for the next generation.
