Home to several campuses, Yuma Union High School is committed to providing students with the utmost support. This includes housing a trained school social worker and speaking about important topics such as grief, emotional regulation, and healthy boundary setting.
Continuing their commitment to providing an inclusive and communicative learning environment, they have partnered with ASU Prep Global to create a personalized global academy for students. This global academy allows for customized lessons and curriculum management that provide support for individual learning needs. Through this partnership, YUHSD students are given a distance learning opportunity with an accredited curriculum that is flexible and prioritizes the success of students.
The educational technology industry is always changing and keeping up with it is hard to do, this is just another way for me to be able to try and keep up with the industry. Most importantly, I will be able to better serve the YUHSD students and teachers by tapping into this exciting new resource.
